born and raised in Dendropotamos (2024): Cast

Located west of Thessaloniki, the Dendropotamos settlement, also known as a gypsy settlement, exists on the city's periphery. Surrounded by expressways, train tracks, and abandoned camps, the community's lives are intertwined with the city’s hidden river and a degraded environment, largely ignored by passing traffic. Despite the hardships, the resilient residents maintain hope, supported by institutions like the Minor Protection Center, a Second Chance School, and the Women’s Association of Dendropotamos.
