Following the devastating 2011 earthquake and tsunami that struck the Tōhoku region of Japan, a group of evacuees from Futaba, Fukushima, strives to preserve their cherished local tradition, the “Futaba Bon-Uta.” Taiko drummer Hisakatsu Yokoyama and the others work together to keep the beloved Bon-Uta festival alive, facing challenges and finding strength in their community and shared heritage amidst the aftermath of the disaster.
