In a world where the outcome of a fight is rigged to decide fates, a boxer who deliberately loses a bout ends up killing his opponent, only to be proclaimed the winner as he returns home. Yet the gamble unravels when another killer intercepts him on the road, casting a dark shadow over the entire event.

In the United States, retired boxer Jake Raye, Don Wilson, who co-owns Hal and Jake’s self-defense class, receives a sobering call from the Philippines police. His half-brother Michael Raye, Ned Hourani, has been found dead in Manila, and Jake is asked to travel there to recover the body. Instead of returning, he decides to stay and hunt down the killer himself, driven by a mix of duty, grief, and a stubborn need for justice.

To navigate the dangerous path ahead, Jake enlists the help of a calculating trainer named Kwong, Joe Mari Avellana. Kwong lays out a brutal road map: the killer is likely to surface at a gladiatorial contest known as the Ta-Chang, or the Red Fist tournament, a blood-soaked arena where only the victor lives to tell the tale. With Kwong’s guidance, Jake plunges into the battle-infested underworld of the tournament, where every fight is a test of strength, nerve, and survival.

As the rounds unfold, Jake fights and wins match after match, climbing closer to the final confrontation with Chin Woo, Cris Aguilar. The intensity of the tournament—and the looming threat of betrayal—puts Jake to a grueling test, forcing him to question who can be trusted in a place where reputations are earned through blood. Kwong informs him that Chin Woo is the killer he’s been pursuing, a revelation that shifts Jake’s focus from vengeance to a more personal reckoning.

Watching from the sidelines, Hal, Kenneth Peerless, comes to witness Jake’s final bout. Hal’s presence adds an uneasy layer of tension, and soon a more troubling truth emerges: Kwong, the very trainer who helped Jake advance, is the real killer. The weight of this accusation changes the course of the pursuit, turning a hunt into a confrontation between old loyalties and a killer’s carefully constructed facade.

The climactic showdown unfolds in the same alley where Michael Raye met his end. Jake defeats Chin Woo in the ring, but the real battle lies ahead with Kwong. Wounded and driven by a mix of rage and resolve, Jake corners Kwong, and in a dramatic moment, he impales his rival on a fence. With the killer defeated, Jake walks away into the night, carrying the memory of his brother and the hard-won truth that justice, however costly, must prevail.
