What Is Best of the Badmen About?
The premise of Best of the Badmen without spoilers.
After the Union defeats the Confederacy, Major Jeff Clanton goes to Missouri to persuade Quantrill’s Raiders to pledge to the North and clear their outlaw status. Corrupt sheriffs Joad and Fowler block him, eager to keep the bounty alive. When they frame Clanton for murder, he escapes and becomes an outlaw.
