The film opens in the crumbling ruins of Kali Pahari, a shadowy complex of caves, and introduces Nevla [Anirudh Agarwal], a Dracula-like figure who sleeps in a coffin by day and becomes a bat to stalk humans from nearby villages by night. He longs for a steady blood supply, especially from young women, to spread his evil seed, and he relies on a ragtag group of henchmen to lure unsuspecting victims to Kali Pahari. Among these sinister aides are a witch-woman named Mahua [Aruna Irani], an evil priest known as Mahaguru [Sunil Dhawan], a tantrik (an evil sorcerer), and other muscle-for-hire who help Nevla execute his dark schemes. The atmosphere crackles with a blend of ritual menace and creeping seduction as the gang works to keep Nevla fed.
Mahua works as a maid in the household of the righteous Thakur Pratap Singh [Vijayendra Ghatge]. One evening, the Thakur catches Mahua in a suspicious conversation with Baku, and his stern warning to sever ties with the gang makes danger glow at the edges of her duties. Yet Mahua remains bound by orders to locate a fresh maiden for Nevla, weaving a web of fear that entangles the town. The Thakur’s sense of justice is tested as the Kali Pahari gang corners innocent people, and the plot thickens with a mysterious book that Sapna [Manjeet Kular] discovers after a moment of misfortune. This fragile thread pulls Sapna, Kamya [Kunickaa Sadanand], and Kumar together as they move through social gatherings, from Kamya’s birthday party to the grim outskirts, where a woman who bears the scars of a recent stabbing becomes a chilling clue.
Kumya catches the eye of Kumar [Hashmat Khan] at Kamya’s party, sparking a tense tension that Kamya later magnifies by manipulating the fear around the book. Sapna, shaken by the encounters, returns home with the book, while Kumar searches for Sapna and finds himself drawn into a dangerous game of witchcraft and deceit. Kamya, obsessed with power, devours the pages of the book and reads about ways to bend others to her will. After driving in her car, the enigmatic woman from Kali Pahari crashes her vehicle and is taken to the altar of Nevla. A priest performs a black magic ritual to heal Kamya’s injuries, and she accepts the lure of Nevla’s world, becoming a conduit for his return.
Anand [Satish Kaul] and Sapna race toward Kali Pahari to rescue Kamya as she is drawn deeper into Nevla’s orbit. Anand recognizes Kamya’s familiar presence from earlier glimpses and suspects her involvement in the eerie events. One night, Kamya is summoned to Kali Pahari for a ritual that serves as the trap to revive Nevla, who wakes when Kamya is bitten and becomes bound to Nevla’s service for eternity. The trio—Kumar, Sapna, and Anand—enter Kali Pahari to rescue Kamya from the catacombs, where a glass coffin marks her slumber and Nevla’s power ebbs and flows in the smoke-filled corridors. The battle rages with the gang’s henchmen and Nevla, but Kamya’s life hangs in the balance as she is knocked into danger.
As the struggle intensifies, the trio learns the truth about Kamya’s birth and the bargain that tethered her to Nevla. The Thakur returns, outraged by the doom that Nevla has spread, and confronts Mahua, who reveals the tragic pact that birthed Kamya for Nevla’s purposes. He beheads Mahua in a fit of righteous fury, but Nevla remains a fearsome threat, turning his attention to Bhanu [Anita Sareen] and then targeting Sapna once again. Bhanu escapes the seduction, and the pursuit continues, with Anand and Kumar fighting to keep Sapna safe.
Resolved to end Nevla once and for all, Kumar and the Thakur disclose Nevla’s Achilles heel: his soul is trapped inside a statue at Kali Pahari, and his only weakness is sunlight. The plan unfolds in two phases: Kumar and Sapna lead the townsfolk to confront Nevla in broad daylight, while the Thakur contrives a fiery assault on the statue to unleash the inevitable doom. Nevla attacks with frenzied energy, but as the statue burns and sunlight floods the cave, the ancient evil falters and finally catches fire from the blaze. Nevla’s once-imposing presence shrieks into a wailing loss as the sun’s light claims him.
The final scene settles into a quiet, somber victory. Nevla is destroyed forever, and the survivors—Kumar, Sapna, and the Thakur—watch as the evil that haunted Kali Pahari is vanquished. The film closes on a note of uneasy peace, with the three of them standing together, bearing witness to a town that has faced its darkest fears and emerged into the light.
