What Is Backstage About?

The premise of Backstage without spoilers.

While rehearsing for a performance in Morocco, a contemporary dance troupe finds themselves embroiled in controversy when their provocative show sparks outrage in a small Atlas town. Following an accidental injury to dancer Aida, caused by her partner Hedi, the pair embark on an unexpected and intense journey through the Moroccan wilderness. They must then face the repercussions of their actions and the complex relationship between art and its impact on a community.
