Spoilers ahead
André Luiz, Renato Prieto, is a self-centered, high-status physician and father of three whose life ends in a way that unsettles him more than any earthly judgment could. Rather than waking to the gates of heaven, he opens his eyes to a desolate valley where shattered dreams and broken lives drift as if cast aside. The landscape is peopled by spirits who share his fate—deemed suicides—left to wander a limbo that questions the very meaning of existence. In this grim outpost, André is forced to confront a truth he has long avoided: his choices on Earth have cut him off from a simple, irreplaceable gift—the chance to be present for those he loves.
