In a small village in East Godavari, a tight-knit circle of five friends—Arjun Sree Vishnu, Ram Babu, Thadodu Mahesh Achanta, Oscar, and Shravani Amritha Aiyer—share everything and dream of a simpler, steadier life close to home. Arjun, a devoted Jr NTR fan, would rather stay in his native village and help his father run the dairy than chase money in far-off cities. He lives with his parents and keeps the family business humming, finding joy in the small, honest routines of village life.
Trouble arrives when their local bank begins the process to seize Thadodu’s home. The bank manager, acting on orders from a village president who doubles as a private lender, grants a brief extension—but only if a bribe is paid. Desperate to keep their homes safe, Arjun borrows Rs. 50,000 and uses his cherished cow as collateral to secure the bribe, a decision that weighs heavily on him.
With an eye toward a brighter future, Arjun and his friends decide to launch their own soda business and apply for a loan. Yet the bank manager demands another Rs. 50,000 as his commission, tightening the squeeze. Things take a darker turn when they are drawn into a plan proposed by their childhood rival, Vamsi, now operating as a rural gambling organizer. He suggests earning the money by smuggling cannabis. Reluctant but pushed by circumstance, the group agrees to the risky scheme.
The plan spirals out of control as they are pursued by Subbu, a corrupt and formidable officer, who chases them through the countryside. Arjun and the gang manage to slip away with crucial help from Shravani. Their route finally leads them to the Andhra–Orissa border, where they intend to transfer the cannabis. But deception follows them: the bags have been swapped, and the pursuers end up with a haul worth Rs. 50 lakhs. A tense fight erupts as the group tries to reclaim the money, forcing a dangerous escape to Vizag and a renewed scramble to outwit Subbu and his loyalist cops and the smugglers.
Back in their village, Arjun and the others hide the money in a haystack and wait for the right moment to reclaim a life free of debt and fear. They learn that Sunita, the Sarpanch’s daughter, is set to marry Subbu, which complicates their plans and motivates a cautious approach to confrontation. When the bank manager returns to seize Thadodu’s house, Arjun heads out to retrieve the money but finds the haystack burned and the entire stash destroyed.
A hard-won sense of justice pushes Arjun to uncover the true nature of the Sarpanch’s scheme. He discovers that the bank manager is partnered with the Sarpanch in a land-grab racket, offering villagers loans at low rates only to push them toward losing their lands when they cannot repay. Confronting the corrupt leaders, Arjun negotiates a settlement that would return lands to the villagers, sparing Thadodu’s home because it had already been given as dowry to Subbu. Yet Subbu’s half-truths come to light when a hidden video reveals his real machinations: an animal trade operation tied to a forest minister, with a journalist exposing the scheme and demanding ransom.
The revelation cascades into a broader collapse of Subbu’s power, and the events twist further when the money bag is discovered to be filled with counterfeit notes. In a final turn of fate, Vamsi seizes the bag and burns the haystack, complicating the already fragile triumph. In the end, the town begins to breathe easier as Subbu faces legal consequences, and the story closes with the friends reflecting on their choices and looking ahead to a future that might include bigger adventures—like the legendary film RRR on the horizon.
