Arjun Krishna, a skilled technician at a Chennai-based BMW showroom, crosses paths with Anamika Raghunath, a college student, during a night out at Hard Rock Cafe. Sparks fly, and they agree to meet again for a date the next evening. After the date, Anamika invites him to her apartment for a bottle of vodka, and the night seems to be going well—until Anamika is kidnapped by two men. Arjun, who was in the bathroom, rushes to the Besant Nagar police station to report the incident, hoping to bring help and answers.

At the crime scene, Sub-Inspector Arumugam arrives with Arjun but discovers the apartment has been cleaned up, and the watchman insists Anamika hasn’t returned for three days. The CCTV footage offers no clear sign of intrusion, which makes the officer wonder if Arjun’s complaint might be a product of intoxication or panic. A call to Anamika’s father, Raghunath Kumar, reveals a troubling obfuscation: he claims Anamika is holidaying in Goa, pushing Arumugam to search for a deeper truth behind the vanishing.

The trail leads to Raghunath’s mansion, where the trio witnesses two men and a police inspector pressuring him to hand over an SD card containing sensitive information. Raghunath calls his editor to hand over the card, but the men kill him. Arjun and Arumugam pursue the trio; in the ensuing struggle, Arjun kills the Besant Nagar police inspector, while the two men escape and slay Arumugam. The chase continues to the Channel 24 office, where the two men emerge with the SD card and kill the editor, forcing Arjun and Anamika to flee with the card.

The men report to their boss—an influential figure closely connected to the Union Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Rishi Dev—who decides to rush to Chennai within three hours. With the SD card in hand and the password known, Arjun inserts the card into his phone and discovers a single file: a video exposing Megha Sharma’s murder at the hands of Rishi Dev, revealing a calculated cover-up that had been passed off as a gas-leak accident at her mansion. This chilling discovery spurs Arjun and Anamika to upload the video to YouTube in an effort to expose the truth.

Their plan is jeopardized when Arjun’s friend, Raj, arrives with Rishi Dev’s henchmen, who manage to overpower Raj and close in on the couple. As Rishi Dev’s men tighten the noose, a false police complaint is filed against Arjun and Anamika, and internet access in Chennai is blocked. The pair become fugitives, with every move tracked by the police, while Anamika, in incognito, reaches out to media houses to gather attention at the Forum Vijaya Mall for a dramatic reveal—set for 3 pm.

The plan backfires when Anamika accidentally destroys the SD card, erasing the sole bit of hard evidence against Rishi Dev. The police seize the moment on live television, portraying Arjun and Anamika as murderers and offering a substantial reward for their capture. With the evidence compromised, Arjun hatches a daring counter-move: a late-night meeting with Rishi Dev at a private airfield, intending to force a confession and capture it on video with a hidden camera. The authorities close in as the confrontation unfolds, and Rishi Dev tries to destroy the evidence and physically overpower Arjun. However, Arjun’s preparations pay off: the meeting was secretly recorded and broadcast live by Anamika, using 3G connectivity to reach major TV channels, ultimately exposing Rishi Dev.

The confession confirms Megha Sharma’s murder, and Rishi Dev is arrested. A few weeks later, Arjun and Anamika are cleared of all charges and celebrate with a quiet date at a beach resort. In a tender moment, Arjun proposes marriage to Anamika, who happily accepts, sealing their commitment after a harrowing, high-stakes journey to reveal the truth.
