Arun is a photographer working in a Mysore studio, capturing moments for a living and watching life unfold through the lenses of others. In the same city, Rajashekhara Aras stands as a monument of wealth and stature, living in a sprawling palatial house while carrying the weight of a fractured family. Now a loner, Aras drinks to fill the silence of his empty home after years of managing a marriage that rekindled briefly years ago following his wife’s death. He enlists Arun for a simple task—a single, respectful family portrait for an official document—but the request quickly grows into something more urgent: Aras longs to reunite with his three children, who are scattered across the globe in Sydney, Bangalore, and Washington, D.C.

Arun, initially wary but moved by the old man’s loneliness, dives into a delicate mission. He learns that the husband of Aras’s eldest daughter is a police commissioner in Bangalore, a detail that opens doors previously closed. Prakash becomes a pivotal link in the plan, and Arun uses this connection to approach the family’s circle with care and persistence. He befriends Neethu, the younger daughter, who is surprised to learn that her grandfather is still alive despite what she was told. With Neethu’s help, Arun meets her elder sister Geetha, a doctor in Mysore, and the two gradually form a genuine, supportive bond. Geetha sees Arun as a trusted friend, and Aras, watching their growing closeness, encourages him to follow his heart and propose to Geetha.
