What Is Ape About?

The premise of Ape without spoilers.

Trevor Newandyke, an aspiring comedian, finds his life spiraling into unpredictable chaos. Battling frustration from minor annoyances like rising cable bills and inflated prices, he seeks refuge in acts of pyromania and immersing himself in music. His increasingly erratic behavior leads to both comedic and disastrous consequences as he struggles to find his place and deal with the pressures around him.
