An Impossibly Small Object (2018): Cast & Ratings

A Dutch photographer, who is also a talented photographer, captures an image of a young girl playing with a kite in a Taipei parking lot at night. The photograph draws the viewer into the life of the eight-year-old girl, who is facing the imminent loss of her best friend, a boy from a privileged family relocating to America. Simultaneously, the photographer in the Netherlands grapples with his own feelings of loneliness, and the photograph triggers memories of his own childhood and a sense of lost belonging.
