Raised by storks after being orphaned, teenage sparrow Richard believes he’s one of them. When his stork family prepares to migrate to Africa, they must reveal his true identity and leave him behind, as he's not equipped for the journey. Determined to prove he is a stork, Richard embarks on a journey south, aided by an eccentric owl named Olga, who has an imaginary friend, and Kiki, a flamboyant parakeet with a love for disco.
