Sun, Chulachak Chakrabongse is a student at an international school in Phuket who doesn’t believe in love and leads a tight-knit, mischievous clique. The group includes Meena, Paula Taylor a striking but self-centered presence; Rajit, the geeky member; Wawa, Worajan Sangngern a smart but shy soul; and Chi, Titinun Keatanakorn the fun-loving spirit. Moo Priew, the overweight student, clings to the fringe of the group, hoping to prove himself worthy of their circle but is repeatedly rejected. The air around them hums with easy confidence and a streak of danger they barely notice.

Rainbow, Sririta Jensen, a beautiful and enigmatic transfer from Chiang Mai, instantly changes the dynamic. She shares a chilling tale about a demon summoned through a phone number: 999-9999. If spoken after midnight, a wish will come true, but death will follow for the caller. The others dismiss the story as superstition, but Rainbow’s presence makes a treacherous spark that none of them can ignore. Chi tests the legend first after midnight and wakes to find a Ferrari awaiting him, a stroke of luck that seems almost magical.

The group’s curiosity quickly turns grim as the consequences begin to accumulate. Meena tries her luck and wishes to become a Channel V Thailand VJ, only to be killed by a hanging noose at a party soon after. The grim pattern unsettles Sun, who starts investigating the deadly call and spends more time with Rainbow. Despite these ominous signs, the rest of the clique keeps chasing their own desires, chasing the lure of instant gratification this number promises. Rajit longs to shed his geeky image and is burned by a sudden fire while Moo Priew’s attempt to lose weight ends in a fatal fall from a window, his organs pulled out and his body left thinner than before. Wawa yearns to be an astronaut-in-training, and her dream ends in a brutal accident where sharp gears rip through her head.

Sun, driven by a longing he denies, dares the impossible and calls the number himself, wishing for love. In a moment that feels almost unreal, Rainbow kisses him, and Sun realizes his wish has come true. The victory is short-lived, however, as he fears Rainbow’s presence could pull him into the same deadly fate, so he locks her away in the tower where their circle usually gathers. From his surveillance setup, Sun discovers the cruel truth: Rainbow is the architect behind the cascade of deaths, using the number to lure others and eliminate them as a devil’s apprentice.

The tension peaks as Rainbow vanishes, and the phone line promises Sun his own doom. A heavy box plummets toward him from the tower, and he narrowly dodges it, only to stumble onto a pipe that pierces his chest, ending his fight and his life. A flashback reveals Rainbow’s past at another school, where she first told the girls about the number, setting in motion the deaths there too, including the girl who was impaled on a flagpole. The film closes on the haunting realization that Rainbow’s whispered power has followed her, threading through multiple lives and communities, leaving behind a trail of fear and unanswered questions.
