After moving into a new house following the tragic death of his mother in a car accident, Chuck, his wife Maria, and his younger sister Isabelle begin to experience unsettling supernatural phenomena. Meanwhile, a family Realtor arrives at the house to film a testimonial about the property. During the filming, the ghost of Helen unexpectedly manifests through Maria, revealing her tragic backstory directly to them. She confesses that her vendetta against the town and the school system was born out of desperation and grief. Helen’s daughter had suffered from severe bullying, which Helen tried to combat by reaching out to the parents of the bullies—sending letters that only worsened the torment.
