The premise of 1994 without spoilers.
An Iranian family relocates to Lillehammer, Norway in the early 1990s, just as the town prepares for the 1994 Winter Olympics. While the locals initially greet them warmly, the festive atmosphere fades after the Games, revealing underlying xenophobia and cultural tension. The film blends dark comedy with a sharp look at how newcomers adapt to an unwelcoming society.
