Roel Reiné

Roel Reiné is a renowned Dutch film director born on 15th July 1970 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. He started his career in his home country, directing television series and films before moving to Hollywood. He also uses the alias John Rebel on occasions. His directorial style got attention and recognition in Hollywood where he specialized in direct-to-DVD sequels, with notable works like Death Race 2 and Hard Target 2. Over the years, his occupations have revolved around being a film director, and cinematographer, owning and operating his production company, Rebel Film. He hasn't just limited himself to directing films. Reiné has also worked extensively in American television, lending his directorial acumen to series such as Inhumans, Wu Assassins, and the much-anticipated Halo. His extensive filmography ranges from No More Control (1996) to Fistful of Vengeance (2022), showcasing his impressive diversity as a filmmaker.
