A tense crime thriller set in South Boston, the story follows two men whose lives unexpectedly intersect. Colin Sullivan, an ambitious state trooper, rises through the ranks while secretly working for a dangerous Irish mob boss. Simultaneously, Billy Costigan infiltrates the same mob as an undercover cop. As both men navigate a perilous game of deception and corruption, they risk everything to expose the other's true identity, leading to a deadly confrontation.
