Vithaya Pansringarm (Thai: วิทยา ปานศรีงาม, RTGS: witthaya pansi-ngam; born 11 August 1959) is a renowned Thai actor best known for his standout performance in the film Only God Forgives. In Thailand, he also goes by the name Khun Pu. Holding a degree in Graphic Design from the New York Institute of Technology, his diverse talents extend beyond acting. He has been an avid practitioner of martial arts for more than thirty years and is a 5th-degree black belt (5 dan) in Japanese martial art kendo. He is also the president of the Thailand Kendo Club which further showcases his commitment to martial arts. Around June 2014, his brilliant acting skills led him to win 'Best Actor' at the Shanghai International Film Festival for his role as Chavoret in The Last Executioner. This film, which is based on the awe-inspiring life story of Thailand's last executioner, won 'Best Picture' and 'Best Screen Play' at the 30th Surasawadi Awards in 2015.
