Trond Espen Seim

Trond Espen Seim (born 4 October 1971 in Oslo, Norway) is a renowned Norwegian actor whose career has spanned more than two and a half decades, beginning in 1996 and continuing to the present day. Raised in the capital city, he developed an early fascination with theater and film, enrolling in local acting workshops before his professional debut. His breakout role arrived with the portrayal of private detective Varg Veum, a character from Gunnar Staalesen’s popular crime novels, a part he inhabited across a prolific series of films from 2007 to 2012, delivering gritty performances in titles such as Bitre blomster, Tornerose, and Kalde hjerter, the latter of which he also directed, showcasing his emerging talent behind the camera.
