Tata Esteban, born Steve Paolo Regala on September 28, 1954 in Manila, Philippines, emerged as one of the most influential figures in the Philippine film industry during the late 20th century. He pursued a double major in Business and Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Baguio, a foundation that later informed his strategic approach to film production and distribution.
