Steven Cree

Steven Cree, born on 29 February 1980, is a Scottish actor known for his diverse roles in film, television, and theatre. He rose to prominence with his role as Ian Murray in the Starz television series, Outlander. His acting repertoire includes notable films such as Brave (2012), 300: Rise of an Empire (2014), Maleficent (2014), 51 Degrees North (2014), and Churchill (2017). He has also made significant strides in television, with his work in Lip Service earning him critical acclaim.

Born in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, Scotland, Cree embarked on his professional acting journey in 2001, with a guest-starring role in CBBC's weekly comedy series, G-Force. Since then, he has displayed a wide range of talent in various genres, from crime dramas like Silent Witness to comedies like Huge. More recent roles have seen him working in notable shows such as The Musketeers and MotherFatherSon. Apart from acting, Cree has also ventured into other areas: in 2018, he wrote and starred in a short film entitled The Little Princess, which was co-awarded Best Short Narrative film at the San Luis Obispo International Film Festival.
