Quim Gutiérrez

Joaquim 'Quim' Gutiérrez Ylla, born on 27 March 1981, is a highly regarded Spanish actor. His acting prowess has been widely recognised, notably winning him the Goya Award for Best New Actor for his standout performance in 'Dark Blue Almost Black' (2006). Already at the tender age of 12, Gutiérrez was appearing on the small screen, making his television debut in the Catalan soap opera 'Poblenou'. He sought to fortify his acting skills by studying Humanities at the Pompeu Fabra University, with further training from the Nancy Tuñón theatre school in Barcelona. His polished skills and dedication did not go unnoticed, earning him a return to television, featuring in 'El cor de la ciutat' for a steady span of five years.
