Naian González Norvind

Naian González Norvind is a lauded Mexican actress and writer, born on February 7, 1992. Born into a family rich in acting heritage, she is the daughter of renowned Mexican actress Nailea Norvind and Fernando González Parra. Her lineage also includes her grandmother, the celebrated Norwegian-Mexican actress Eva Norvind, making Norvind a part of Finnish and Russian descent through her. She has two talented sisters, Camila Sodi, her older half-sister, and Tessa Ía, her younger sister, both of whom share the acting profession with her. Norvind was well-educated, having studied at Sorbonne University and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Norvind's career, spanning from 2011 till present, is dotted with significant roles across different mediums. She has showcased her talent on stage, Mexican TV series, and films. She showed her mettle in challenging shooting conditions for the Mexican TV show Crónica de castas. Norvind gained international exposure with her portrayal of Mad Hatter's sister Alice Tetch in season 3 of Gotham and Christie Watkins in the 6th season of the CBS police procedural drama, Blue Bloods. In 2018, her role as the protagonist in Leona, a drama revolving around Mexico's Syrian Jewish community garnered attention. Her latest accomplishment is her role as Dr. Maya Castillo, a cognitive scientist in the 2nd season of the Invasion TV series on Apple TV+ in 2023.
