Meredith Hagner

Meredith Kathleen Hagner (born May 31, 1987) is an acclaimed American actress who embarked on her acting journey by portraying Liberty Ciccone on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns (2008–2010). Her brilliant performance on the show earned her a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series in 2009. Post her exit from As the World Turns, Hagner was seen as a series regular on the FX drama Lights Out (2011) and the TBS sitcom Men at Work (2012–2014). A native of New York City, Hagner grew up in Houston, Texas, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, before attending the Boston Conservatory. However, she left the conservatory after a year to fully immerse herself in acting opportunities in New York. Here, she was cast in television and radio advertisements for reputed brands, providing her with diverse experience beyond soaps and drama series.

Hagner made her presence felt on screen again with her portrayal of Portia Davenport in the TBS and HBO Max dark comedy series Search Party (2016–2022) that received critical acclaim. Concurrently, she appeared as a series regular on the Facebook Watch comedy-drama Strangers (2017–2018) and the Quibi comedy Dummy (2020). Her impressive film portfolio includes a host of films such as Hits (2014), Folk Hero & Funny Guy (2016), The Oath (2018), Brightburn (2019), and Palm Springs (2020). Always pushing the boundaries, Hagner secured a main cast role in the AppleTV+ series Bad Monkey in 2024. Her stellar career, spanning two decades and myriad genres, stands testament to her versatility and adroit acting skills.
