Filippo Timi

Filippo Timi, born 27 February 1974, is known for his versatility in the Italian entertainment scene as an actor, director, and writer. He has won various awards including the ‘Best Actor under 30’ at the 2004 UBU Awards, the prime accolade for Italian theatre. His roles have featured a plethora of characters like Orpheus, Danton, Perceval, Cupid, Hamlet, and Satan. Despite personal challenges like stuttering and partial blindness, Timi has proven his prowess across various domains including TV, film, theatre, magazines, and musical shows. He's also authored best-seller trilogy, published between 2006 and 2008, featuring an intense love for life, sketched through an ironically vivid and phantasmagoric lens.

His film career skyrocketed with roles in Ferzan Ozpetek's Saturn in Opposition and Saverio Costanzo's In Memory of Me, earning him a nomination for a best supporting actor award by the Italian Syndicate of Film Journalists.
