In 2015, Time magazine named her one of 100 world's most influential people. Notably playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series, she started acting professionally as a child. After the Harry Potter series, she took other significant roles in films like 'My Week with Marilyn', 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower', and 'Little Women'. She achieved acclaim for her portrayal of Alexis Neiers in 'The Bling Ring' and the titular character's adopted daughter in 'Noah'. Besides acting, Watson is known for her work in activism, particularly in gender equality. Watson graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor's degree in English literature and later became a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador launching the UN Women campaign HeForShe, which advocates for gender equality.
