Kenneth Ehren McGhehey, better known to fans as Danger Ehren, was born on November 29, 1976 in McMinnville, Oregon. Growing up above a mortuary, he developed an early fascination with extreme sports, becoming an accomplished skateboarder by the age of twelve and later a professional snowboarder—a career that left him with a broken neck, shoulder, and knees. While working at a skate shop in Portland, his penchant for filming daring tricks caught the eye of the creators of Jackass, launching a career that has spanned over two decades. McGhehey’s on‑screen persona—marked by a willingness to endure severe pain—earned him a reputation as one of the most resilient members of the Jackass troupe, appearing in all three television seasons and four feature films, often under the moniker “Danger Ehren.”

Throughout his time with Jackill, McGhehey has been the subject of some of the franchise’s most notorious stunts, including the infamous “Terror Taxi” skit and a harrowing incident where a string tied to Bam Margera’s Lamborghini pulled out a healthy tooth, resulting in a fractured skull. He also endured a ruptured testicle after a fellow cast member, Dave England, jumped on him with a pogo stick. By age thirty‑three, McGhehey had undergone sixteen surgeries to mend injuries sustained from both snowboarding and stunt work.
