Danielle Nicolet (born Danielle Diggs on November 24, 1973) is an American actress whose career spans over three decades, beginning in the early 1990s with a recurring role on the beloved ABC sitcom Family Matters. She quickly rose to prominence after securing the role of Caryn on NBC's iconic series 3rd Rock from the Sun, a part she inhabited from 1996 to 2001, showcasing her comedic timing and versatility. Following that breakthrough, Nicolet continued to build a diverse résumé, appearing in the short‑lived UPN sitcom Second Time Around (2005) where Entertainment Weekly lauded her as the network’s breakout star, and later joining the TNT medical drama Heartland and USA Network’s The Starter Wife alongside Debra Messing.
