Brandon Auret, born on December 27, 1972, is a distinguished South African actor highly recognized for his signature role as Leon du Plessis in the SABC3 soap opera Isidingo. Born in Johannesburg, one of the vibrant cities of South Africa, he is a versatile actor who has marked his prominence in TV shows and movies since 1998. In addition to his shining career in TV shows, Auret has displayed remarkable dexterity in stage performances comprising Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Sleeping Beauty, The Buddy Holly Story, Alladin, The Doo-Wah Boys, Summer Holiday, Forever Young, Jukebox Hero, Debbie Does Dallas, Khalushi and Strictly Come Party.

His contribution to the South African movie District 9 is appreciable. He was a staple on Isidingo until 2005, following which he landed the role of William in the GO/M-Net dramatic series Angel's Song during 2006-2007.
