Anthony Carrigan, born January 2, 1983 in Winchester, Massachusetts, emerged from a modest New England upbringing to become one of television’s most memorable character actors. After graduating from Winchester High School, he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Carnegie Mellon University, where he honed his craft in both classical and contemporary performance techniques. Early in his career Carrigan took guest spots on series such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent and Parenthood, gaining valuable on‑set experience while navigating the challenges of an actor with alopecia totalis, a condition that caused complete loss of hair in his twenties.
