Aimee Carrero, an American actress born on July 15, 1988, gained fame for her roles in numerous movies and television series. Notably, she's recognized for providing her voice to Disney Channel's Princess Elena in 'Elena of Avalor' and as Adora/She-Ra in the Netflix series 'She-Ra and the Princesses of Power'. Her stage roles are not limited to voice acting. She has been seen live as Sofia Rodriguez on the Freeform sitcom 'Young & Hungry' and Angie on Cartoon Network's 'Level Up'. Carrero, a proud alumna of Florida International University, was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to a Dominican mother and a Puerto Rican father, subsequently growing up in Miami, Florida. She started her career in 2007, making her memorable appearance in 2009 in the feature film 'Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel'. Her other television credits include 'The Mentalist', 'Lincoln Heights', 'Men of a Certain Age', 'The Middle', 'Greek', 'Zeke and Luther', and 'Baby Daddy'. In Atlantic Theater Company, she made her Off-Broadway debut in the world premiere play, 'What Rhymes with America'. She unleashes her acting prowess in several films like the horror film 'Devil's Due', FX series 'The Americans' as Lucia, and the ABC Family sitcom 'Young & Hungry'. Among her recent roles includes Danielle in the drama series 'Maid' and Vivian in Amazon Prime Video's romantic comedy film 'Upgraded' and Jessica, a new paramedic, in the action comedy film 'Code 3'. Aimee Carrero, now married to Tim Rock, continues to shine in her career, showing her passion and talent in acting.
