Adrien Brody

**Adrien Nicholas Brody**, known as **Adrien Brody**, is an American actor renowned for his diverse acting prowess. His career began in 1989, and he has remained active in the film industry to date. Most notably, Brody is known for his portrayal of Władysław Szpilman in Roman Polanski's war drama The Pianist (2002), a role that won him the Academy Award for Best Actor at age 29, making him the youngest actor to win in that category. His performance also garnered him a César Award for Best Actor. Throughout his career, Brody has demonstrated considerable range, starring in critically acclaimed films such as The Thin Red Line (1998), King Kong (2005), Predators (2010), and The Brutalist (2024). Additionally, he has frequently collaborated with filmmaker Wes Anderson, and enacted diverse characters like Salvador Dalí in Midnight in Paris (2011) and Arthur Miller in Andrew Dominik's Blonde (2022). Despite his diverse lineage, Brody admits to not having a strong connection to either Judaism or Christianity. He has had a tumultuous personal life, from a serious motorcycle accident in 1992, to a high-profile relationship with Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, which ended in 2009.
