Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje

**Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje**, born on 22nd August 1967, is a renowned British actor, best known for roles as Simon Adebisi in Oz, Mr. Eko in Lost, Lock-Nah in The Mummy Returns, and significantly more. His acting career started with a compelling role in Congo in 1995, followed by an array of versatile characters. His penchant for transformation is evidenced in his powerful portrayals of characters ranging from a Nigerian gang lord to a Batman Villain, Killer Croc, in the DC Comic film Suicide Squad. Among his other respectable roles were in Thor: The Dark World, The Bourne Identity, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. Additionally, he has a remarkable presence in HBO's Game of Thrones. Beyond his acting career, he is a celebrated director. His directorial debut, the movie Farming, started production in 2017 and premiered at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival. Akinnuoye-Agbaje's life is an extraordinary story of struggle and resilience. Born in London to Nigerian parents, he was given up for adoption to a white working-class family in Tilbury, Essex when he was just six weeks old. However, his birth parents brought him back to Nigeria when he was eight. A major turning point in his life came when he was sent to a Surrey boarding school at the age of 16, from where his academic journey began, ultimately earning him a Master's degree in Law from King's College, London.
