Adam Woronowicz

Adam Woronowicz (born 25 December 1973 in Białystok, Poland) is a celebrated Polish character actor whose career spans over three decades. He graduated in 1997 from the prestigious Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, marking the beginning of a prolific stage and screen presence. Woronowicz debuted on film with the 2002 romantic period drama Chopin: Desire for Love, where his nuanced performance garnered early attention. Throughout the 2000s he built a reputation for embodying complex supporting roles, appearing in more than ninety films since 1995, including notable titles such as Reverse (2009), The Christening (2010) – for which he won the Polish Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor – and the internationally acclaimed Cold War (2018).
