Wisam is tasked with neutralizing Omar Qureshi's jihadist network plotting an attack on New York. He travels to the United Kingdom with his team to perform the final rites for their fallen comrade Dawkins, marking the start of a high-stakes operation. The mission also tests the team's loyalties as they prepare for covert actions ahead.

Flashback: Ashmita recruited

In a flashback, Wisam recalls meeting Ashmita during an Indian Army parade and award ceremony. Impressed by her spirit, Wisam and Jagannathan recruit her for the covert operation. This sets the foundation for the later staged affair to infiltrate Omar's group.

Ashmita and Wisam's undercover romance

To infiltrate Omar’s network, Wisam and Ashmita stage an affair, sacrificing personal lives for the mission. The ruse leads to a court-martial for Wisam and a ten-year sentence for dereliction of duty. The plan hinges on keeping Ashmita close and maintaining their cover.

Escape and undercover assignment

With Jagannathan’s help, Wisam escapes prison and is branded a militant. He then joins Omar’s terrorist network undercover alongside Lieutenant Roy, continuing the mission from within. The precarious double life drives the narrative’s tension between loyalty and duty.

Ambush in the UK and Dawkins' remains

Back in the present, the team is met by Goswami, who escorts Dawkins’ remains to safety. Their car is ambushed by militants, causing a deadly crash that strands Nirupama, Ashmita, and Jagannathan inside the vehicle while Wisam is ejected. Wisam fights a pursuer and kills him before Goswami dies, content to have faced his enemy.

Flashback to the earlier mission with Omar

Wounded from the ambush, Wisam slips into a flashback recounting his earlier mission with Omar. He and Imtiaz attempt to plant a locator to track Osama bin Laden for NATO forces, but Omar ambushes them and Imtiaz is killed. Wisam is gravely injured and signals NATO helicopters with flares before being rushed to a hospital.

Present-day hotel confrontation and surveillance

The team reaches their hotel where Eshwar accuses Wisam of killing a militant instead of capturing him and questions his loyalty. Wisam and Ashmita detect surveillance devices and destroy them, warning Eshwar to back off. The tension sets up a broader conflict over the mission’s true objectives.

Explosives investigation and Eshwar's sabotage

Wisam, Nirupama, Ashmita, and ISI agent Munnavar investigate a building for explosives as part of the broader plot. During a phone call, Eshwar urges Wisam to evacuate, but Wisam pretends to be trapped instead. Eshwar triggers a bomb, but Munnavar reveals Wisam’s survival, and Eshwar kills himself to avoid capture.

Tide schedules reveal London-bound threat

The team discovers a book detailing tide schedules that ties the plot to the SS Richard Montgomery, a WWII shipwreck off Sheerness carrying 1500 tons of unexploded ordnance. The militants plan to detonate cesium devices underwater during high tide to trigger a massive tsunami and submerge London. Nirupama, a certified deep-sea diver, dives to inspect and disable the devices.

Jim killed and the mission to thwart the attack

Wisam’s ally Jim is killed by a militant attempting a remote detonation, intensifying the urgency to stop Omar’s plot. Wisam tracks and eliminates the attacker, preventing the catastrophe and protecting innocent lives. The victory underscores the personal risk borne by Wisam and his team.

Return to Delhi for debrief and reconciliation

Jagannathan is summoned for debriefing by his superior Seshadri, who questions Nirupama’s role. Jagannathan refuses to remove Nirupama, citing Wisam’s deep love for her. Nirupama’s respect for Wisam grows as she reconciles with him.

Wisam and Nirupama visit his Alzheimer’s-stricken mother

The couple visits Wisam’s mother, an Alzheimer’s patient, in a care home. She fails to recognize him but clings to memories of his childhood through old photos, leaving Wisam emotional. The scene emphasizes the personal cost of their mission.

Ashmita and Nirupama kidnapped; Omar’s hostage crisis

Salim kidnaps Ashmita and Nirupama, brutally killing Ashmita and sending her dismembered body to Wisam. Omar blames Wisam for his family’s NATO-related deaths and holds Nirupama and Wisam’s mother hostage in Daryaganj. Salim unveils a plan to detonate 64 bombs across India to mark 64 years of independence.

Wisam defuses the bomb and Omar’s downfall

Omar attaches a bomb to Wisam’s neck with a 40-second timer and holds Nirupama hostage; Wisam escapes and neutralizes the device in a water tank, then kills Salim. Omar attacks Wisam but dies after falling into a burning stove, ending his terrorist network’s threat. Wisam’s team prevents the mass bombings and advances toward resolution.
