Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu Plot Summary

Read the complete plot summary and ending explained for Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu (2018). From turning points to emotional moments, uncover what really happened and why it matters.

Sub-Inspector Vinay Rao, Sudheer Babu, receives a troubling complaint from a young boy who claims his house, along with his parents inside, has vanished. The boy’s claim is later confirmed when Vinay discovers that house no. 143 in the boy’s colony is missing, setting off a chain of investigations that will tug at many lives.

Dr. Surya, Ravi Prakash, a medical practitioner who sponsors an orphanage, is troubled when a girl from the orphanage goes missing. Circle Inspector Srinivasa Rao, Anantha Prabhu, refuses to take the case seriously and chides Surya, which only deepens the sense that something larger and darker is operating beneath the surface.

The mystery widens when a passenger flight from Colombo to India goes missing. Deepak Reddy, Nara Rohith, is appointed as the head of the Investigation Unit, charged with untangling a case that suddenly looks like it touches many corners of the country. Constable Ramarao, Shashank, a part-time private investigator, offers to assist Surya, but his involvement triggers threats from the unknown kidnapper.

A chilling development follows when Deepak receives a call from a man who identifies himself as Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu, and he claims to have hijacked the missing flight. He demands that Inspector Neelima, Shriya Saran, and her team execute a pan-India mission to kill 300 criminals in exchange for the release of 300 hostages. Neelima reveals that there has been a string of killings against criminals, all tied to the same nameless figure, and the government agrees to the drastic condition to try and save lives.

Meanwhile, Vinay’s team uncovers a clue: a key that opens the lock to an old dilapidated house, suggesting a lead on the whereabouts of those who may have abducted the boy’s parents. At the same time, Ramarao uncovers a racket that targets the most vulnerable—poor and orphaned girls—following the kidnappers as they snatch another girl, only to be discovered and confronted at Surya’s home. The confrontation ends in tragedy as Ramarao, Surya, and Surya’s wife are killed by the heavy-handed captors.

As the investigation progresses, Deepak learns that Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu’s claim of hijacking a flight is false, because the remains of the plane are found in the Indian Ocean, indicating the aircraft had crashed. Yet the team presses on, rescuing the kidnapped girls, locating the head of the kidnappers, and shooting him dead, hoping to thwart the larger plot.

A new horror unfolds when a man dressed as Santa Claus begins murdering the rescued girls, complicating the mission and casting a pall over the operation. Surya’s orphaned son, Nikhil, Master Snehith, who had been living at the orphanage, runs away and disguises himself as a girl in an attempt to uncover the kidnapper’s identity, a plan that succeeds only in drawing him further into danger.

Vinay learns that his father’s fate is darker than expected: he has committed suicide. The investigation then reveals a grim truth: Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu burns the hostages rather than releasing them, and these captives are themselves criminals who had been targeted in the broader death march. A new visual clue—a sketch of Veera Bhoga’s appearance—helps the team track him down, leading to a tense pursuit and pursuit-based confrontations.

A startling realization emerges: the missing house was never truly missing. The number plates outside all the houses in the area had been altered to create the illusion of the boy’s house vanishing, and the boy’s parents’ bodies are later discovered. Nikhil escapes from his captors once discovered, and the story pivots to a staggering truth: the boy and Nikhil are the same person. It’s revealed that Vinay’s father, Srinivasa Rao, who appeared to be a negligent figure, was in fact the head of the kidnappers’ racket that killed Surya.

Years later, the plot thickens: the kidnappers themselves had adopted Nikhil from the orphanage, unaware of his true identity, and he defeats them in a twisted turn of fate, bringing Nikhil to Vinay and forcing him to confront the past. In the present, Deepak, Neelima, and an older Vinay corner Nikhil, who is also Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu, in a dilapidated building, but Nikhil escapes once more. The film closes with an epilogue that shows a much older Nikhil and leaves a clear hint that a sequel could follow.
