Jeeva [G. V. Prakash Kumar] tells the ticket collector why he left his home and is traveling to Kumbakonam, setting the frame for a road-mary tale that blends youth, love, and the awkward lessons of growing up.

Jeeva was born alongside two other girls — Aditi [Manisha Yadav] and Ramya [Anandhi] — due to a hospital crowded with new arrivals, and he grows up shoulder to shoulder with them in a small, tightly knit circle. He also leans on his uncle Vishu [Vtv Ganesh], who becomes a steady voice whenever romance becomes complicated. The three friends, bound by years and shared memories, drift through adolescence with a mixture of mischief and earnest longing.

When they reach higher secondary school, Aditi moves to Bangalore for a week, and a different spark ignites between Ramya and Jeeva. The two fall in love, and a hesitant Jeeva finds the courage to propose, while Ramya boldly accepts. That first electric night together sees them roaming the city and stealing moments, a youthful romance that feels like a watershed for both of them. But the next day, Jeeva’s impulsive admission of their intimate moment leaks out, and rumors swirl through the school. Ramya reacts with anger and heartbreak, dumps Jeeva, and leaves Chennai to forget him. In the midst of this upheaval, Aditi calls Jeeva and makes a bold proposal, which he accepts, anchoring a new, if fragile, bond.

For almost three years, their relationship with Aditi remains stable, until a cruel test arrives. Jeeva discovers Aditi drinking, and his disdain for the habit drives him to insist she change. She promises to quit, but he soon sees her drink again at a club, and his anger flares publicly. The scene leaves him humiliated and heartbroken, and he ends up being carried away from the turmoil. He narrates this turbulent chapter to his ticket-collector confidant and continues toward Kumbakonam, seeking some sense of resolution.

At the railway platform in Kumbakonam, Vishu welcomes him with practical, blunt wisdom: if one girl leaves, there will always be another. That line unsettles Jeeva as he spots Ramya waiting, and old feelings rush back. Vishu nudges him to reach out to Ramya’s aunt Simran [Simran], hoping a trusted intermediary can rekindle the connection. With Simran’s careful guidance, Jeeva edges closer to Ramya once more, aided by the calculated diplomacy of their renewed alliance.

As their paths converge again, Jeeva and Ramya begin to rebuild what they once had, but the old questions linger. To test the honesty of Ramya’s past three years apart, Jeeva asks Ramya five pointed questions that cut to the core of their history. The final question—whether Ramya is a virgin—lands with a blunt truth: she is not a virgin, having shared intimacy with her ex-boyfriend, Harish [Arya]. The revelation shocks Jeeva, who becomes furious and demands that Ramya bring Harish to explain himself. Harish arrives, tries to defend their past by claiming it happened only once, but Jeeva’s anger simmers into a broader disillusionment, and Ramya and Harish end up rekindling their old bond.

Disgusted by the tangled past and what it means for his own ideals, Jeeva resolves to leave Kumbakonam and return to Chennai. He tells Vishu that he now wants only a virgin girl, a wish that Vishu bluntly calls out as impractical in the modern world. Still, Jeeva persists, boarding the train with a stubborn sense of purpose as the doors begin to close.

Just as his resolve hardens, a helping hand extends from a train compartment, pulling him aboard. It belongs to Priya [Priya Anand], the girl he’s about to meet on this new leg of his journey. He greets her with curiosity and a touch of bravado, asking about her destination—Trichy—and the audience senses that his pursuit will shift to this new romance, with the old wounds left behind on the platform.

As the final chapters of the story unfold, the film keeps its focus on the messy, funny, and sometimes painful business of trying to define love, desire, and personal boundaries in a world that rarely offers perfect answers. The shared history between Jeeva, Ramya, Aditi, and the rest of the supporting cast becomes a textured backdrop for a boy’s journey through heartbreak toward a potentially more hopeful future.
