Vijay, Srikanth, is an upright police officer who strives to serve with integrity even in a system where pressure from superiors and the government can tilt outcomes. During a raid on a club owned by MLA Ravi Varma, he fatally shoots Johnny, a wanted criminal who works for Ravi, and seizes a substantial amount of Ravi’s money. When he submits the seized funds to his longtime ally and supervisor Rathod, Rathod hints that Ravi is furious and presses Vijay to return the money to Ravi to keep his job. With limited leverage against Ravi, Vijay reluctantly agrees, aware that stepping out of line could jeopardize more than just his own career.

The investigation then takes on a political edge. The Home Minister receives an intelligence report stating that terrorist Arrif, Priyadarshi Pullikonda, has planned an attack at a rally that the Chief Minister would attend. To advance his own ambitions, the Home Minister dismisses the warning and rearranges his schedule so that the Chief Minister and civilians could be killed, creating the pretext for him to seize the Chief Minister’s position.

After returning the money, Ravi demands further bribes to spare Vijay, forcing him to scramble for a way to come up with additional funds. The pressure mounts as Vijay fights to keep the investigation alive while meeting Ravi’s escalating demands, all while maintaining a fragile line between duty and graft.

On a routine patrol, Vijay spots Karim, a former prisoner with terrorist ties, meeting a plastic merchant who has a criminal history of supplying explosives. Out of suspicion, Vijay questions the two separately and receives conflicting answers, which makes him believe they are planning an attack. Arrif, Priyadarshi Pullikonda learns that Karim has drawn police attention and orders his men to kill Karim. Karim survives and goes underground, leaving Vijay deeper in the maze of corruption and conspiracy.

Days later, Vijay receives a suitcase full of money and a note that reads, “Take the money and stop the investigation, or we will kill your whole family.” Realizing the seriousness of the threat, Vijay takes the suitcase and shows it to Rathod, who suggests using the money to pay the bribe owed to Ravi and to drop the case. A crucial moment comes when Rathod accidentally mentions the exact amount of money in the briefcase, revealing his own involvement. Vijay confronts Rathod, and Muzib, a new officer in their department, overhears the confrontation. Rathod knocks Vijay and Muzib unconscious and locks them up, setting in motion a dangerous power play at the heart of the force.

Rathod then reports to the Home Minister, who orders Vijay’s death. Rathod returns to Vijay but cannot bring himself to shoot his friend, and instead begs for cooperation. Vijay refuses and fights his way out, escaping with Muzib. The department declares Vijay a rogue officer, and he vanishes to go underground while continuing the investigation with the tacit support of colleagues who still believe in him. The Home Minister escalates his pursuit with a shoot-on-sight order for Vijay.

As Vijay and Muzib slip deeper underground, they uncover the terrorists’ plan with Karim’s help. They manage to arrest Arrif and another terrorist who is already on the police watchlist, gaining the crucial details needed to foil the attack. At the rally, Vijay orders the defusal of all bombs planted by Arrif’s men, with Rathod lurking nearby, ready to kill him. A hostage situation outside the action unfolds when a terrorist in custody seizes Rathod, but Vijay intervenes and shoots the terrorist, saving Rathod. Overcome by guilt, Rathod attempts suicide, but Vijay has already removed the bullets from his gun, thwarting the attempt.

The Home Minister’s fury deepens as Vijay’s plan succeeds. He confronts Vijay privately, but Vijay deploys a dangerous counter-move of his own: he ties a bomb around his own neck to intimidate the minister, who dies of a heart attack shortly after. In the wake of the minister’s death, Vijay walks free as a hero who stopped the attack, and the true chain of events remains hidden from the public eye.
