In a quiet village, Anji is a young man raised amid devotion and dreams. His father, an engineer, and his mother are devoted followers of Lord Hanuman, and their shared ambition is to develop the village by building a dam that would irrigate the surrounding lands. This dream is cut short when the cruel village head Brahmam and his henchmen murder Anji’s parents, leaving the child an orphan. He is taken in by the head priest of the village’s Lord Rama temple, who raises him as his own son. Under the priest’s care, Anji grows into a compassionate and beloved figure, earning the affection of villagers who see in him a living testament to his parents’ values.

As Anji matures, Paddu develops a quiet, steadfast love for him, while the village itself begins to look up to this gentle, steadfast youth. Yet beneath the surface, the village head, craving greater power, hatches a sinister plan with the aid of a black magician: kill Anji to seize supernatural abilities and extend his control over the community. The tension rises as strange events begin to unfold, fueling fear and suspicion among the villagers who mistake Anji’s kindness for a more ominous force.

Into this fragile balance comes a figure who seems to answer the prayers of many: Hanuman, who arrives in disguise as a human and reveals himself to Anji by adopting the name “Anji.” The meeting forges an unlikely alliance, and the two form a deep friendship. Hanuman protects Anji from the constant threats plotted by Brahmam and his allies, guiding him and even helping him perform the final rites for his deceased parents. When the village head’s propaganda paints Anji as a practitioner of black magic, the head priest pleads for mercy and urges the villagers to expel the young man rather than harm him. Anji is expelled from the village, but his resilience remains unshaken, and he returns despite opposition. His return throws the villagers into confusion: many cannot see the other presence that has stood beside Anji all this time, and whispers of miracles continue to swirl.

The turning point comes when the head priest clarifies the mystery: the ever-present companion was none other than Lord Hanuman. Overwhelmed by remorse for the suffering caused by the misunderstanding, Anji strikes his head against a brick in front of Lord Hanuman’s statue, seeking atonement. In that moment of reckoning, he receives a direct divine instruction: build the dam and name it Seethamma Thalli Dam, a tribute to his parents’ dream and a symbol of the village’s future.

With this revelation, Anji commits to a monumental task. He begins the dam project, facing the village head’s renewed hostility and threats from those who fear changes to the old order. Yet Lord Hanuman steps in to defend him, delivering decisive blows to the antagonists. Inspired by divine guidance and bolstered by the support of many villagers, Anji pursues the construction with unwavering determination.
