Upon arriving, the path to reunion with Rupa grows tangled. After an initial stop at Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport, he is drawn toward a Buddhist temple where Rupa claimed she would meet him, but she never appears. An empathetic yet wary IPS Officer, Muthumaran, learns of the newcomer’s plight and offers him shelter as he tries to piece together what happened. Muthumaran’s attitude is practical and laced with skepticism about romance, suggesting that Sakthi’s hopes may be premature.

A sudden case of mistaken identity plunges Sakthi into a dangerous firefight between rival factions. Those aligned with him manage to extract him and whisk him away in a luxury car to a posh hotel, leaving him more baffled than ever. A magazine on the seat beside him reveals a startling twist: a perfect doppelgänger of Sakthi, a billionaire tycoon who is adored by many and targeted by rivals. The confusion deepens as Sakthi clashes with the tycoon’s entourage, including the tycoon’s personal assistant, Manohar. His passport and identity seem to have swapped in inexplicable ways, with his seemingly simple Indian passport transforming into a Thai passport filled with visas to Australia, New Zealand, and the United States. A visit to a Bangkok Bank marks a turning point: Sakthi discovers that the bank’s security recognizes his signature as matching the tycoon’s, revealing a balance that reads as more than half a billion U.S. dollars. Maya grows wary, and the two begin to suspect that the two realities—trekker and tycoon—are being manipulated.

A long and tense cat-and-mouse game unfolds as Sakthi and Maya uncover that two ruthless businessmen, Rajesh Arunachalam and John Frederick, are behind the mosaic of events. Born into affluent families, the pair have a habit of staging dangerous trials for entertainment, betting on whether ordinary people can survive their machinations. To provoke Sakthi and test Maya’s resolve, the villains even produce a man posing as Maya’s boyfriend, Rohit, escalating the tension and forcing the couple to improvise.

In a bold counter-move, Sakthi and Maya stage a confrontation—faking an assault to make the antagonists believe Maya is dead. The plan spirals into chaos for the villains, who lose control of a car and crash in a panic.
