Over a tense weekend at home, Ray learns something devastating: Fahmarr is not with their mother, Marie Mouté, and Fahmarr has been staying with a former acquaintance, presumed to be a dealer. The two brothers push forward, and Ray convinces Tonya to surrender full custody to him so they can pursue the legitimate benefits they need to stay together.

The NCAA hearing becomes a defining turning point.
