Raj Kishore is plagued by bad luck, a curse that drags along his oldest friends, Junky and Chandu. Every plan they hatch ends in loss or setback; even their fire-cracker shop goes up in flames on its opening day. The trio schemes to charm Sanjana by making her fall for Raj Kishore, and secure a bank loan to launch a new package delivery venture. Having been fooled by them before, her uncle catches wind of the scheme, demands the money back, and the trio barely escapes.

They inadvertently end up delivering their first order: an expensive sports car to Janhvi, the daughter of a gangster Raja Sahab and the niece of WiFi Bhai. The car arrives in a wrecked condition, and Raja Sahab and his goons torture them. They offer their services as disposable servants, a suggestion [WiFi Bhai] convinces Raja Sahab to accept despite the astrologer’s warning about Kishore’s rotten luck. They become the crew’s tested hands and decoys: Junky and Chandu are used to test food for poison, while Raj Kishore serves as a decoy during travel. In the meantime, [Chandu] and Janhvi fall for each other, adding a fraught, tender thread to the chaotic mix of schemes and loyalties.

During one of their traveling assignments, old enemies Tulli and Bulli Seth attack their convoy, exposing that WiFi Bhai is not as fearless as he pretends. Fed up with their constant rivalry, Niraj Modi, a businessman-turned-don who fled India after taking enormous loans, proposes to end the feud by offering ₹700 crores to invest. But their continued streak of misfortune continues to haunt them: Raj, Junky, and Chandu end up causing a fire that burns the entire stack of money.

In a bid to salvage what’s left, Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai send the trio to bet on a lucky horse. They overhear talk of another horse and place their bets on it, only to see that horse lose the race. Unable to pay Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai, the trio escapes with Janhvi and Sanjana, while her uncle pursues them. The group winds up on a glue truck where Janhvi’s lips get stuck to Chandu’s cheeks, and Sanjana and her uncle end up glued to their backs. They reach an abandoned house where Kavya is staying, posing as a ghost after rejection in her acting career. There, Raj Kishore accidentally discovers a basement full of Niraj’s cash hoard. The trio steals the money and returns to Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai’s house just as Niraj is about to execute them for not paying. They settle the score and buy Niraj’s properties.

Niraj soon discovers the ruse and threatens to kill them all. Raj reminds him that the money isn’t his own but stolen from India, and that Raj himself once worked at a bank Niraj borrowed from, becoming one of the many people who lost their jobs because of Niraj’s actions. Raj also goads Niraj’s henchmen into keeping the money for themselves. A skirmish ensues involving three escaped lions and culminates with detectives arriving to take Niraj into custody. In the end, Raj, Junky, and Chandu reconcile with Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai, and the trio finally lives on the right side of luck, finding a form of happiness after so many misadventures.

Start of the bad-luck streak

Raj Kishore, Junky, and Chandu are cursed with constant bad luck, and every venture they try ends in losses. Their fire-cracker shop even burns down on its inaugural day, foreshadowing the string of failures to come. The trio remains hopeful but luck never seems to be on their side.

Deceiving Sanjana for a loan

They manipulate Sanjana into falling in love with Raj and secure a bank loan to start a new package delivery business. The capital seems like a lifeline, but the scheme hinges on deception and isn’t sustainable. This sets up the looming fallout as their luck continues to fail them.

Uncle demands repayment

Having been fooled before, Sanjana's uncle uncovers their scheme and demands their money back. The trio scrambles to avoid repayment, fleeing before the truth catches up with them. This chase marks the first major setback after the loan.

First delivery goes wrong

They secure their first real delivery: an expensive sports car for Janhvi, the daughter of gangster Raja Sahab. The job goes disastrously wrong, and Raja Sahab along with his goons tortures them for the damaged car. This brutal treatment clouds their new venture with danger.

Becoming disposable servants

Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai hire the trio as disposable servants to keep them out of trouble, despite an astrologer's warning about Kishore's notoriously lousy luck. They accept the odd new role, hoping for a fresh start. The arrangement forces them to navigate a criminal world while trying to stay out of direct danger.

Tests and romance

They're put to work as servants, including Junky and Chandu being used to test whether enemies poison their meals while Raj serves as a decoy during travel. Chandu also develops feelings for Janhvi, and she grows closer to him, complicating loyalties. The trio's bond is strained as personal and professional pressures mount.

Convoy attacked by old enemies

During one travel assignment, old enemies Tulli and Bulli Seth ambush their convoy, exposing WiFi Bhai as a coward in front of Raja Sahab. The attack escalates the tension and solidifies the trio's precarious position. The incident reveals that danger is never far away.

Niraj Modi proposes peace via ₹700 cr

Businessman-turned-don Niraj Modi arrives with a proposal to end the rivalries by offering ₹700 crores to each party to invest. They see it as a tempting opportunity to settle the feud and regain leverage. The offer sets off a new scramble as all sides weigh their options.

Money burns in a fire

Despite their efforts, Raj, Junky, and Chandu trigger a fire that destroys the entire stack of money Niraj planned to use. The loss forces them to seek new means to salvage the situation. The stakes rise as the money is suddenly out of reach.

Betting on the wrong horse

To salvage what remains, Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai send the trio to bet on a supposed lucky horse. They overhear talks about another horse and mistakenly bet on that one, which loses the race. They are left unable to pay Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai and must improvise.

Glue-truck escape and Kavya encounter

Overtaking pursuit, they escape with Janhvi, while Sanjana and her uncle trail behind. The group ends up on a glue-laden truck, trapping Janhvi's lips to Chandu's cheek and Sanjana and her uncle to their backs. This ridiculous mishap forces them to seek safer ground and a new plan.

Kavya and Niraj's cash basement

In an abandoned house, they meet Kavya, who is hiding there after a failed acting career and posing as a ghost. Raj accidentally discovers a basement where Niraj keeps a stockpile of cash. The trio realizes they may have found a path to solve their money problem.

Heist and settlement

Raj, Junky, and Chandu steal Niraj's cash and rush to Raja Sahab's house, arriving just as Niraj is about to execute them for not paying. They settle the debt and use the money to buy Niraj's properties. The tables turn as Niraj's control over the situation crumbles.

Niraj's downfall and reconciliation

Niraj realizes he has been outsmarted when the trio pockets his money and uses it to seize his properties, threatening to kill them. Raj reminds Niraj that his money is stolen from India and calls out his crimes, even urging his own henchmen to keep the money for themselves. A chaotic confrontation ends with detectives arriving to take Niraj into custody, and the trio reconciles with Raja Sahab and WiFi Bhai to live happily ever after.

Pagalpanti Spoiler-Free Summary

In a bustling Indian town where hope and hardship sit side‑by‑side, three friends—Raj Kishore, Jagmohan (known as “Junky”), and Chandrakanth (“Chandu”)—find themselves branded as perpetual losers. Their lives are a string of mishaps, from business flops to everyday setbacks, and even the local astrologer warns them that fortune has little patience for their misfortune. Yet beneath the humor of their constant blunders lies a restless drive to rewrite their stories and claim the prosperity that always seems just out of reach.

Each member of the trio brings a distinct flavor to the partnership: Raj’s earnest optimism, Junky’s sly street‑wise charm, and Chandu’s dry, dead‑pan wit. Their camaraderie is tested and strengthened by the women they love—Sanjana and Janhvi—who share both their dreams and their skepticism. Together, the six of them form a rag‑tag crew whose chemistry crackles with affectionate banter, playful rivalry, and occasional moments of tender sincerity, setting the stage for a collective quest that feels as much about personal validation as about material gain.

The world they navigate is a vivid mosaic of colorful markets, cramped apartments, and the ever‑present buzz of superstition and ambition. In this environment, two notorious local gangsters dominate the underground economy, their reputation casting a long shadow over the community. For the friends, these figures represent both an obstacle and an unlikely opportunity—a chance to outwit the powerful and seize the wealth that has eluded them for so long.

Tone‑wise, the film balances slapstick comedy with sharp social commentary, letting the characters’ perpetual bad luck fuel an absurdist humor that never loses its heart. The story promises a rollicking ride of schemes, close calls, and the unshakeable belief that even the most downtrodden can flip the script—if only they can stay one step ahead of destiny and each other.
