Boog, a friendly and easygoing boar, originally plans an annual trip with his male friends to enjoy some quality time, but this year, things don’t go as expected. Feeling somewhat left out, Boog makes the decision to embark on his own adventure, which leads him to discover a fascinating Russian traveling circus.

While there, Boog encounters Doug (Crispin Glover), a scruffy, lazy [bear], who is exhausted from performing in the circus and longs to be recognized as the true king of the forest and the ruler of all wildlife.
