Years later, a man named Venu is critically ill with cancer and must be operated on. The treatment progresses well until Murali meets Venu’s wife, who is revealed to be Seetha. When Seetha learns that the doctor treating Venu is Murali, whom she had left, she becomes upset.

Despite the old wounds between them, Murali does his best to cure Venu. Seetha worries that Murali might take revenge on her by not providing proper treatment to Venu, who, aware of Murali and Seetha’s past, begins to hope for a future. Venu even asks Murali to marry Seetha in case the operation fails, as he does not wish for his wife to become a widow. Seetha becomes infuriated when she discovers Venu’s request and tells Murali that if Venu dies, she will die as well. Murali promises Seetha that he will save Venu even if it costs him his own life.

Murali works hard to save Venu so as not to create a misconception that he killed Venu to be with Seetha. With great effort, Murali manages to cure Venu’s cancer. However, when he reads the postoperative results, he is overwhelmed with joy and dies of high blood pressure caused by his own excitement. Venu and Seetha realize that Murali had sacrificed his life for their happiness and it stays in their hearts.

In a modest town where the rhythm of daily life is punctuated by the soft beeping of hospital monitors, the story unfolds around a community hospital that serves as both a place of hope and a crucible for hidden emotions. The setting is intimate, allowing the personal struggles of its staff and patients to echo through the corridors, creating a tender yet uneasy atmosphere that blends professional dedication with the weight of past relationships.

Murali returns to his hometown after years abroad, bringing with him a fierce commitment to battling cancer—a cause that has become his life’s purpose following a heart‑breaking separation. He carries the quiet resolve of a physician who has pledged himself entirely to his patients, while his inner world is still haunted by the memory of his former love, Seetha, whose life took an unexpected turn while he was away. Their shared history lingers like an unspoken promise, shaping the way he approaches his work and the people around him.

When a new, critically ill patient arrives—Venu, a man fighting the same disease that has defined Murali’s career—an unsettling revelation emerges: the patient’s wife is none other than Seetha. The professional sphere instantly collides with the personal, setting up a delicate balance between duty and lingering affection. The doctor must navigate a maze of ethical questions, wondering how far his compassion can stretch when the line between caring for a patient and confronting old wounds blurs.

The film’s tone is quietly introspective, marked by the muted urgency of medical drama and the lingering ache of unfinished love. Supporting characters, including a young girl undergoing similar treatment, add layers to the tapestry of hope and uncertainty. As the narrative unfolds, the audience is invited to feel the tension between selfless service and the pull of the heart, all within the gentle, emotionally resonant world of a small-town hospital.
