A quiet, tense drama unfolds on a forest highway when a charred car is found, hiding a burnt body that shocks a quiet town. Inspector Ashok, Kishore, leads the initial probe, but the shattered number plate and scarce clues leave him with little to go on. A stray visiting card becomes the sole thread to pull, hinting at a tangled web beneath the surface.

The very next day, Sam and Mary report their friend Vismaya, Mayuri Kyatari, as missing. Forensic teams soon reveal a troubling detail: traces of scopolamine on a handkerchief near the body. The car is traced to Vishal, a known drug dealer, who is arrested after officers uncover drugs and alcohol in his flat. Vishal’s confession throws a wrench into the case: he claims a relationship with Vismaya and that she was pregnant. He recounts a brutal sequence — he refused to marry her, assaulted her, and placed her body in the car trunk, only to see the car driven away later.

Meanwhile, Amrutha, Priyamani, reveals to Ashok that Vismaya was her patient and was set to marry a man named Suman. A hospital visit brings another shock: Suman’s mother says he’s had an accident, and doctors report that Suman’s nervous system was severely damaged. Amrutha adds a twist: Vismaya had undergone a kidney transplant long before, making a pregnancy biologically impossible. Vishal’s story shifts again: his girlfriend was Vismaya Suresh, not the same Vismaya involved with him. Yet the corpse in the trunk confirms Vishal’s account (the dead woman is indeed Vismaya).

The narrative widens as Amrutha explains that Vismaya had lost both kidneys to illness, and Suman had donated one to save her life after she had saved his mother. In the present, a speechless Suman writes his version of events: he and Vismaya fell in love and planned to marry. On the way to a crucial rendezvous, his vehicle breaks down, and he accepts a ride from Vishal and Vismaya Suresh. He reaches Vismaya’s apartment, finds it empty, and then suffers an accident at the gate, landing him in the hospital.

Back at the apartment complex, Ashok reviews CCTV footage and spots Mary and Sam near Vismaya’s flat, acting as if they know nothing about her. A deeper search of Mary’s place uncovers drugs and a photograph of four friends — Mary, Sam, Sujay, and Neha — who later vanish without a trace. It becomes clear these four had no real connection to Vismaya, prompting Ashok to chase hidden links between them, a rowdy named Vicky, SI Kumar, and Dr. Aravind, who performed the autopsy.

SI Kumar, Pramod Shetty, is arrested, and the true sequence of events begins to emerge: after a noise complaint, Mary and her friends mistakenly head to Vismaya’s apartment, threaten her, and murder her when she doesn’t answer the door, then stage the scene to resemble an accidental death using Vishal’s car.

To seal the deception, Sujay enlists Vicky, SI Kumar, and Dr. Aravind to falsify evidence and the autopsy report. As the investigation tightens, Sujay eliminates the other three conspirators and is ultimately killed by Kumar to prevent the last witness from speaking. Kumar also silences Vicky, preventing any lingering truth from surfacing.

With the conspirators unmasked and the lies laid bare, the case closes, leaving a painstaking insight into how a group’s secrecy unraveled a fatal chain of choices, betrayals, and calculated cover-ups that began with a burned car on a forest road. The truth, though complex and dangerous, comes to light, and the cases’ threads are finally tied together.
