In the meantime, Arakawa visits a gas station where his partner, Igarashi, works. At home, Igarashi notices how much happier Arakawa has become since he started coaching Takuya. As Takuya makes progress, Arakawa proposes a partnership between Takuya and Sakura for ice dancing, a suggestion that initially leaves Sakura uncertain, as she has been trained for women’s singles figure skating under Arakawa’s guidance.
