Burn Toledo [Gerald Anderson] loses control of his life after his marriage proposal is rejected by his girlfriend Angel and he is fired from his job. He drives to a remote place and crashes his car, leaving him stranded and shaken. He ends up at Happy Sunshine Camp, where he meets the owner, Abi [Pia Wurtzbach], and is surprised by her cheerful, all‑around worker persona in the secluded resort. He immediately distrusts her upbeat energy, feeling that her optimism is at odds with the darkness he’s carrying inside. He introduces himself to Bie, and the moment is suffused with a gentle, hopeful curiosity—the kind of moment that suggests life can still surprise him in a world that has already shown him how fragile perception can be.
