She stays hopeful but skeptical when her friend Honey’s aunt, a card reader, Sunita Rao Kirron Kher, predicts that she will travel to a foreign land and discover the love of her life within seven days. Her luck seems to shift when she is selected to participate in a Youth Festival in Bangkok, a trip that sets everything in motion.

That’s where Amit enters the scene. He is the exact opposite of Priya’s ideal partner: he smokes, drinks, and lies. In a chaotic moment, he is chased by security and bursts into Priya’s hostel room, where he lays eyes on her and immediately falls in love. He snatches her diary and escapes, then starts to pretend to be the very man Priya has always dreamed of, and the two begin a relationship.
