At Jayanthi’s request, Raju accompanies her to her mother-in-law’s home, where he cooks and converses in ways that win their trust.
Jayanthi then asks Raju to take her to Kochi to visit ACP Chandrasekharan, who pledges to look into Ramesh’s disappearance. Afterward, Raju drives Jayanthi to Rekha, Chandrasekharan’s wife and a close friend, and during their talk, Jayanthi receives a surprising phone call from Ramesh, who claims he is in Kovalam for a meeting and urges her to come home the next day.
In a later turn, Chandrasekharan reveals that the phone number Ramesh used was actually in Kochi, not Kovalam, and it’s disclosed that Sudheer, Ramesh’s brother, is entangled in the smuggling plot. Meanwhile, Unni, Babu, Shaji, Shenoy, and an MLA regroup on a rooftop to discuss the missing gold and the sense that Ramesh may be involved.
